OMG- I just need to vent for a second I am so pissed right now! My former husband's crazy girlfriend just called me at 11:30pm on my cellphone and hung up when I answered (the number looked vaguely familiar and I had a gut feeling it was her so I called my ex and asked what her number was and he said that the number was hers and that he had given my number to her). She was in the process of breaking up with him AGAIN and "demanded" my number from him and was calling me to find out why he and I broke up and I was suppose to say something like"He left because he was not happy in the marriage, he didn't leave because of you"..... My ex was begging me to talk to her- to answer her questions...and I just said "I am not talking to this woman- you have seriously crossed the line to involve me in this mess and she better NEVER call me again". She called again while I was on the phone with him but I did not take the call. He is now angry with me for not helping him and yelled "If you EVER loved me, you would do this for me!"... and I said "If you were not out of your mind right now- you would realize what a foolish move it is to ask your ex wife to defend you to the woman you cheated on her with!". What was he thinking? He said what a nice person I am and that she would "believe me".... OMG!!! Does this nightmare never end? I said "I am hanging up now and I don't want to hear from EITHER of you!"...... Well... it has been 20 minutes and they haven't called back.. maybe it's safe!

Even calling your ex and talking about it, puts you in the middle somewhat.
So let them call all they want, if you really want out of it, it's in your hands.

And that's not an "other woman" issue, it's a parenting one. I don't know if they're living together, but he's the one that supposed to be parenting.
And if there was some True emergency, you would get call after call after call. Heck I don't even Have a cell phone, but I'm sure that I can be tracked down.
And I remember the One time, that I considered to be an emergency of sorts where I tracked my ex down at his work (his pre-cell phone days). They were All very accomadating and understanding. (Death in the extended family.)
I guess in part due to the fact that I don't have a cell phone, my ex has to figure things out for himself, like soccer practice and getting everything needed together for it.

Change your number and don't give it to him for any reason. If there HAS to be contact, buy one of those prey pay pay as you go phones and add $10 to it and give him that number.

Well, as far as I could see, what better revenge? If he has to do this, their love life is not the fairy tale he was bragging about.
So, see it this way, your ex is an idiot, who lost any dignity, enjoy the moment and tell the OW that you are not talking to her. You have all the rights to protect yourself from his abuse. Best medicine, laugh in his face about it.

and then to throw in the "if you ever really loved me' line... thats a kick in the bag if i ever saw one...
I hope you stay strong and know that he's desparate, his world is falling apart and he will do whatever he can do, and say whatever he has to say, to keep his house of cards from falling.
