When I met my wife she was an entirely differnt person. The first few years of marriage were a dream. We did everything together and we were best friends. After the 5 year of marriage she began to change and she went downhill.
How do you know that the person you love will never change as much as my wife did?
Upon meeting, we went right into cohabitat living. We both met each others needs. Over time we became comfortable in place, had kids and they became the center of our existance.
We forgot to make time for us..oh, sex was great. I am saying that there is more to a relationship, then sex. And you don't need to be with him/her 24/7. Interests, goals, likes, dislikes. Its okay to disagree. By that, you learn to compromise, be fair on things.
Make decisions together. Handle financial matters together. Respect each others opinions. By all means, trust your partner. Learn to play, be supportive...treat them as you would do with a best friend.
What I now know about a relationship, I intend on doing what I should have done in this marriage. There is the questions...would da. could da, should da.
In order to make the marriage work...both must be in agreement. There is a saying..." If you love someone, let them go. Someday, should they come back, then it was meant to be".
Society is more tolerant about single parent household and be it, the mom or dad that becomes the primary caregiver...it remains, as a part of life changes and how people deal with situations and move on with life.
