Guns are not for me....but if used and kept safely for protection....that is one's choice.
My dad keeps a shotgun under his bed and can not use it as he cannot use his hands. I've told him this is very dangerous. They did have an intruder a year ago....but thank God they did not look under his bed.
The right to bear arms was part of the constitution for numerous reasons.
Guns aren't stupid. They are tools and have useful purposes. If a criminal is armed shouldn't the victim be...or would they be a victim if they were armed and were able to ward the criminal off.
Narrow minded views and ignorance compel people to say things like guns are stupid and not needed. Education is the key when it comes to firearms.
Believe what you wish, but the facts are that a hard target is less appealing than a soft target. A hard target being an armed citizen who knows what they are doing and a soft target being that anti-gun person who thinks that guns are bad.
But that's on thier dumbass.
The only time I had an intruder try to make his way in was via the balcony. He unscrewed the back slider and I heard the blinds move. I got up and called for my brother Alex. When he didn't answer within 3 seconds, I called out "whoever you are, you should leave because youre going to be sorry". And cocked the shotgun and came out with the flashlight lighting up the whole place. All I saw was the blinds moving and he obviously leaped.
My car was gone for the night because I had gotten a flat at a friends house and did not have a jack. So she dropped me off till the morning. So I think he or they thought no one was home.
Meanwhile my brother never woke up. That kid will sleep through a bombing lol
What about bruce lee?
Didn't Bruce Lee die of a gunshot wound? I am just sayin'
Look for yourself
The scariest thing about confronting a break in is the people that are living IN the house unaware of what's going on that might come into harms way. Which is always a good idea to explain to children or people beforehand as to protocol during a break in. I'd hate to shoot my brother on accident lol So I told him already that if I call out "break in" to corner himself in his room with his flashlight and gun and dial 911. We have a password if I'm going into his room to advise him we're code 4.
I would rather not ever have to fire my weapon at someone ever..But if someone were to break into my house and my life was in danger you bet your ass I will shoot someone.
Hmmm..criminals life or my life..easy choice for me to make
