I got something for sleep and that helped to get me in a better place. Time has helped me since then although I still do suffer from insomnia now and then. I've developed a ritual to help me relax before bed that helps to get me "in the mood" for sleep. I drink some Kava tea (you can find it at your health food store) and read. It's relaxing and very soothing. Benadryl helps for the tough nights (although it can dry you out so make sure you drink lots of fluid).
Hang in there. You have more strength than you know. ((((llmt))))
We had a monthly management meeting yesterday and I was still the only women amongst 50+ managers/supervisors/foremen...and after the meeting, they told me that they remembered me when I was a "basket case"....and that they consider me part of the team....no gender...just one of the management body. That was great...
SOMEDAY...SOOON...you will find your bearings. Once you are out from under the same roof, your trek will become a little easier and YOU ARE SO NOT ALONE...you have many that adore you and are more than willing to hold you up. MARCH BABY MARCH!
I have a friend who swears by Kirkland Sleeping pills (Costco Brand)
I don't sleep, but I get sleeping pills from the Doctor. If I don't have them and I need something, I will take a benydryl -
Do you have someone who can take the kids for an over night and so you can just spend time by yourself?
I don't think you're on your way to a nervous breakdown, It's just the divorce and nerves causing it all to happen.
((((llmt))))
Feel weird saying this but every other thing under the sun has been mentioned here except so howwabout "smoke a joint".Sometimes it makes one feel "irie" - verb - to be at total peace with your current state of being. The way you feel when you have no worries.
If your not a toker you can have one little puff and see how it makes you feel. Just throwin it out there, it helps millions cope everyday.
Big Hugs to you ((((llmt))))
Your thread has been on my mind. Was today a bit better?
