Ok so the guy that I have been talking to every day for 4 months now and totally fell for is leaving early in the morning he is moving from Mass. to Cali. I might be able to be more ok with the fact that he is going to be even further away from me than he is now if I knew what he wanted from me but he says that he isn't sure if he wants more than friendship...from anyone right now. I still have suspicions about his female friend that lives in the city that he is moving to but no actual proof that is why he is going. So basically I have been sitting around depressed and just feeling like crying (which I have been doing frequently) and I don't know what the right thing to do is. I have some friends telling me to just let him and others telling me that if I love him then I need to give him time.....oh and let's not forget that as he is getting ready to move - I might be pregnant.

Oh man...shocking ending to that tale. First - make sure you tell him you might be pregnant before he goes. He can decide how to handle that news. Second - any guy tells you that he doesn't know what he wants or whether he wants to stay in touch when he leaves, needs to be left alone. If a guy wants you, he will say it when asked. Ever watch that movie He's just not that into you? Many great pieces af advice in that movie.

It is easy to fool ourselves into thinking something is more than it is, trust me I have done it but the reality is, if a guy wanted you, I don't think you would have to chase him down.

He knows already that it is possible, we still talk everyday and he knew from the time I suspected it I didn't keep anything from him. He told me that at this point it was too late to cancel his job transfer now so he is still moving whatever happens.

I don't want to sound like a jerk - ok maybe I do - but was it not irresponsible to get to the point that "...you might be pregnant." Hell of a time to figure out what kind of relationship he wants. If you are pregnant, I hope you both can do what is best for the child.

Aggie, go find out if your pregnant. but, that doesn't change the fact that if your not a priority in his life now-why would you want anything more, than maybe child support. It's time to do the whole break up thing. the crying, the not sleeping, the damn rollercoaster. But let this guy go, and then find someone who will make you a priority in his life. Someone that loves you the way you deserve to be loved.

He clearly knows that you might be pregnant and is moving anyway. I think that tells you his level of committment to you.

I'm so sorry. Find out if you're actually pregnant. Even if you can't be with him, he has an obligation to the child.
