My exboyfriend and I parted ways last year. I've ran into him a couple of times and we've briefly chatted - small talk. I've only seen him with his new girlfriend twice. Once was in a crowd of people so I just ignored them; then the other time I ran into them at the grocery store. I said hello and kept walking. Recently I started receiving a few hang-up phone calls that were blocked. I had the police trace them and they are coming from his new girlfriend. I have a copy of the police report and they have basically left it up to me as to how I want to pursue this. I am really quite ticked off at her. The calls have stopped for a couple weeks now. I don't necessarily want to take action through the police but I want her to know that I know it is her, but I don't want to call her. What would you do?
Explain that this letter should end all of this as we are all adults here. If this letter does not end all this, and it continues, you will follow through further with the police.

It is imperative that both know you are aware the hang ups came from her, that the police report is on file, and they traced them to her. That should be a wake up to the girlfriend doing the hang ups. It will also make your ex aware she is doing this and both will know that the new girlfriend will face charges in the future if she continues. They need to talk it out as to why it has happened. If I were the man it would be a big red flag to me that a girlfriend would do this. But the girlfriend should realize now that you play for keeps and she should leave you alone.
