so the guy i was in a relationship with for 3years has now admitted that for a long time, is no longer attracted to me.
Im broken. Like, i dont even know how to cope with this.

you should brush pass this like its nothing because it is really nothing (not your feelilng but his). it seems like he was in the relationship with you purely for great look and nothing more. he is just a shallow person and what person thinks, feels and act shows the depth of person's life and in this case, obviously, he does not have any depth and hence no meaning either. this sort of person will and cannot marry and settle down and will most likely move around from one relationship to another, quitting when other person no longer feel special. it seems like he doesnt know that regardless of who he is with, special feelings will always fades away after some period of time and its feeling of care and consideration for one another are what should be replaced with. he is looking for something that is not permanent, not achievable, unless he knows this fact, he is going to be miserable

I was in a relationship for over 15yrs. and married to him for over 13 of those. He said he was in love with another woman and said he never really loved me that he stayed with me because no one else wanted him. LOL! We had three children together.
And It was for the best, he was never father material. Since my children didn't see a change in their lives other than their dad wasn't around, they didn't feel the pain I was going through and barely noticed because I hid it from them. Well one did notice and came to my room and ask me not to cry anymore. This was a shock because he is the child that didn't show as much emotions as the other two! That had me shutting off the water works! LOL!
I now have the most wonderful man who helped me raise my children and has been with me for over 20 years! You just never know who will come into your life for the better!

I'm sorry speechliss, that is so horrible. Not sure if this is his case, but some people project their feelings of insecurity onto others. He may be feeling down in the dumps, so instead of putting himself down, he puts you down. Don't let him get you down. Just move on and either take some time to yourself or find someone that will really treat you right. That was unkind of him to string you along for as long as he did. Good luck to you girlie! :)
