hello y'all!
i'm new to this group but not new to DS....
my ex and i just broke up 6 weeks ago after being together for almost 4 years. including living together for over a year.
we were going to couples counseling for over 3 months up until the break up, which was sudden. we had a fight and he left the house to cool off then called me up and said he got an apartment to move out.
anyways, since then, there has been soooo much drama afterwards!
did i mention that i have chronic pain issues? and my mom broke her leg a month ago, is pretty debilitated, and i have to TRY to be the main care giver!
aaaahhhhhh!
anyways..... i have come here to this group for some support....
i have my up days and my down days for getting over this crazy break up.
this guy just called me today sobbing really bad and saying he's sorry for walking out on me and for causing so much pain in my life. i forgave him before he ever said it, BUT..... i'm sure i can't ever go back to him (i deserve better).
he used to yell at me for hours non stop over the stupidest stuff.... that's another story for another day.......
besides, forgiving is for YOURSELF not for the other person, right? so that you can be free......

Sorry to hear about your mom's leg and you having to deal with being the caregiver...I know its an added stress when you have to deal with chronic pain.
