Here it is... from Wick - When your extremely selfish and you have little or no soul its easy to make the jump. Emotions, feelings what ever you want to call them mean nothing to these types of people. At least other people's, when you care about nothing but your self and you own selfish needs its easy to move on. The don't care about the fall out and carnage they leave behind, its all about them and how they feel and if there needs are met. Its sad but really very simple, the point is there are a lot of very sick twisted people out there and we the members of this group seemed to have married them or formed relationships with them.

If I were to guess on my past experience, it might just be the situation itself. I guess I mean that even though I had contact with the ex once or twice over the month, it was when I had seen her or heard from someone else they had seen or heard from her that would take me back a bit. It kind of made it "real" to me where we were actually at given all we had been through.

As time goes on though, that will fade until it no longer pinches ya.

Sometimes there is no sense to it, it just it what it is and you have to roll with it.

so i guess i should stop analyzing the words. they dont mean anything. i heard this from the inlaws. i was happy to hear them both tell me that i was their family and that they loved me and our son.

if he hasn't told you anything, then surely hearing about something like that just makes it "real" fer sure and makes him a liar. Its no wonder you feel like something is eating at you and I am sure it is a number of things.

I will say I think you are handling very well actually given the circumstances.

It was also real sweet what his folks said. That in itself warms the heart.

I'm going through exact same thing. It's a bit of a kick in the teeth but I found it helped me cut the ties with the ex even more. It really reaffirmed that everything was OVER!
