thank you for the feedback. I got extremely lucky with the first therapist several years ago so I just assumed that would be the case this time. The therapist I was recently seeing is someone you can vent to and complain to. Sure I get my emotions out but there really isn't any sort of plan or goals. I don't have things I should work on or any more insight into what or where some of my problems may come from. My sister is a psychiatrist but she lives out of state. Im not sure if she would know any psychologists in my area but maybe I can try to ask her if someone she knows has any ideas. It is difficult talking to my sister because she grew impatient with me and my choices for many years. Maybe if she sees that I am actually trying this time and want to someday be in a healthy relationship in the future she will be more inclined to want to be in my life through this.
