Hello. We have been out to dinner as a family and now just waiting on the pending snow storm that has been forcasted for our area.

I'm actually spending time with my son. I don't get to see him much because I just went through a break up with his mother and I'm in the process of taking her to court for joint physical custody. It's also still hard for me to deal with him for more than a full day. Usually after about 24 hours with him my brain is exhausted and my cognitive and social skills are diminished.

We are having fun though. I took him out for a walk and showed him the trees, cars and rocks and stuff lol. Then we played with some of his toys and now he's down for a nap...I'm giving my brain a rest right now!!!

I'm trying to find an apartment or studio I can afford with my limited Unemployment funds. I'm currently renting a room from my mom but there is just too much going on here for my brain to handle. I've got 3 younger siblings here, two annoying dogs and a mom that is always on a rampage...yeah lol.

How's your weekend going?

Son is away for a few days, so hubby and I drove up north for some fried clams. They were delicious!

Husband had to go to work for awhile. Then he stopped and got subs for our dinner so I could have the night off. Just relaxing watching some tv.

I did a little cleaning and a bit of talking on the phone...quiet so far.

nice idea for a post Elaine, yesterday I cleaned my flat and then went to the pub with a friend who wanted o watch her team in a football match, that would be soccer to you guys over in the states.It was a nice evening out.
Today Sunday I am meeting a friend for coffee in the afternoon and then just home to relax I guess.
Maybe make some plans for my English class tomorrow. I'm a volunteer teacher for just 4 hours a week but its nice to get me out of the house and nice to have something to plan for.
I'm good at keeping myself busy now I find that helps me

I am on vacation right now. Visiting my parents for a week in Gulf Shores AL. It's been pretty rainy and such, but still warmer than Wisconsin is! It's also nice to be able to see the Gulf, white sandy beaches, and palm trees :)

Unfortunately I was working all weekend. Every weekend of the year for me. :(

Hi sweetie havent been here for a bit, this has been Family Day here in Ontario canada.
This is also the first anniversary for my sons TBI so it has been a hard day. He did pretty well but the family has been reliving thoughts of that day of waiting and worrying and praying.
we are so thankful forhow far ahead he hascomebut he is frustrated at how much he cant do yet.
tome itis amazing, he is able to volunteer for 2hrs at a time 2x a week and is finished most of his therapy. Nowis being helped to re enter society and eventually work.
