Brain Injury Support Group
Traumatic brain injury occurs when a sudden trauma causes brain damage. TBI can result from a closed head injury or a penetrating head injury. Symptoms of a TBI can be mild, moderate, or severe, depending on the extent of the damage to the brain. Outcome can be anything from complete recovery to permanent disability or death. A coma can also affect a child's brain.
Hang in there friend...you are not alone.
Hugs
It must be brain fluctuations or something. I know it's stressful when it happens, cause I had one of those so recently.
(hugs to you)

Have a little note book or some post its close by ou at all times and then when you think of something that you have t do no matter what it is big or small scribble it down. Leave the note somewhere where you can check it and as soon as you have done the job throw away the note.
Some notes might be for next week or later on and some for straight away but i find it helps me even though my memory has never been so bad, I do get muddled up and i find having things written down helps keep me more organised and efficient.
give it a try.
I can give you an example. I have recently been on holiday but before i went I stuck a post it note to my front door and for a few days before every time I thought of something I had to bring with me or do before i went I wrote it down.
So when it was time to leave I had quite a list to check off but I got everything done and had a nice time.
I also have another note stuck to my front door to check that the oven is off and even when I haven't used it now I go back and check it is off. All these little habits help I find.
Good luck
But even though I miss the independence of driving, know I did the right thing handing my drivers license back.
