Traumatic brain injury occurs when a sudden trauma causes brain damage. TBI can result from a closed head injury or a penetrating head injury. Symptoms of a TBI can be mild, moderate, or severe, depending on the extent of the damage to the brain. Outcome can be anything from complete recovery to permanent disability or death. A coma can also affect a child's brain.
I watched a movie called "I Am." It was written by a man who suffered through Post Concussive Syndrome and how he was able to see the positive from something that almost destroyed his life. I just thought I would mention it. I thought it was an inspiring film.

I heard about this movie and read a review for it awhile back. Unfortunately, I've been unable to watch TV since about November/December. It gets me foggy and overloaded and can put me out of commission for days.
I might try in a few months.
