Brain Injury Support Group
Traumatic brain injury occurs when a sudden trauma causes brain damage. TBI can result from a closed head injury or a penetrating head injury. Symptoms of a TBI can be mild, moderate, or severe, depending on the extent of the damage to the brain. Outcome can be anything from complete recovery to permanent disability or death. A coma can also affect a child's brain.
Are you able to pick out a lovely blouse for your sister, or does it have to be the perfect rose color with a mandarin collar and pearl buttons ? In other words, "the right one".
As I've mentioned, I'm keeping a journal for my upcoming granddaughter. The writing is going beautifully, with pages of stories, memories , and everything you can imagine. The trouble is I'm writing it in an old journal, one I used to keep to log seizures in for my neurologist! I"ll transpose all the writings into Persephone's journal ---
Once I find the right one! My mind goes in circles. Mark says the journal would look nicer and last longer if it was in a bound book type . Others agree, but also concede that it's easier to write in a spiral book. So which do I get?
I know now that I"m having a granddaughter, so the journal should look feminine, right? But which one? ( the one with roses on the front, the simple pink one, or the 'hello kitty" one?) . And how far apart should the lines be? Right now I have 5 ( count them, 5) different journal styles , but question each one.
Does anyone have trouble with simple decision making? I'm not talking about lifestyle changes; those are different altogether and require much more thinking. I"m just wasting my time obsessing over ridiculous things. ( I hope) Persephone will treasure a journal , but It Has To Be the Right One.

My husband gets frustrated because if he asks for my opinion, I can never make a decision, so I just say "whatever you want honey" and leave the decision making to him. It flows into every part of my life, from decisions at work, to family, to personal decisions about treatment options...
