Traumatic brain injury occurs when a sudden trauma causes brain damage. TBI can result from a closed head injury or a penetrating head injury. Symptoms of a TBI can be mild, moderate, or severe, depending on the extent of the damage to the brain. Outcome can be anything from complete recovery to permanent disability or death. A coma can also affect a child's brain.

I sustained my MTBI about 10 months ago from a car accident. Just joining this support group now, looking for others in the same boat as me....and by that I mean people who may be off work still, and struggling with the daily ups and downs of TBI and its effects on energy, headaches, emotions...

I deal with massive head pain, cognitive issues, vision and ear damage, depression & PTSD. I'm not able to work currently.
So, CopinginCalgary I guess you could say you are in good company, or maybe misery loves company.
