Brain Injury Support Group

Traumatic brain injury occurs when a sudden trauma causes brain damage. TBI can result from a closed head injury or a penetrating head injury. Symptoms of a TBI can be mild, moderate, or severe, depending on the extent of the damage to the brain. Outcome can be anything from complete recovery to permanent disability or death. A coma can also affect a child's brain.

What an awesome find! Thank you for sharing. Trully a wonderful way to explain quite a few of the different feelings we now share. Just getting others to read is the hard part. Great explanations!

This article has been so helpful.I saw it in another place and copied it.
Larry read it and then wanted me to give a copy to our kids who got a lot or understanding from it. He has been in a lot better frame of mind since he read it, he is more willing to talk about the brain injury and how to relearn stuff. I think it validated what he was feeling and what he has to do to get a little better. I bless the person who wrote and the people who shared it.
