Brain Injury Support Group
Traumatic brain injury occurs when a sudden trauma causes brain damage. TBI can result from a closed head injury or a penetrating head injury. Symptoms of a TBI can be mild, moderate, or severe, depending on the extent of the damage to the brain. Outcome can be anything from complete recovery to permanent disability or death. A coma can also affect a child's brain.
I also have vision problems. In the beginning I was told my problems were the beginning stages of double vision. It seemed as if my eyes were trying to cross but not actually crossing. Like I was seeing like someone with crossed eyes. My eyes seem heavy and sometimes things seem a little blurred but at the same time I can read clearly (like signs). My vision has improved with time so I'm hoping it will resolve all together in time.
Take care,
Gloria
Russ - How long did it take for you to get use to it? It will be 3 years the end of the year for me. I just can't ignore it. I do better ignoring the pain than the tinnitus.
