Brain Injury Support Group

Traumatic brain injury occurs when a sudden trauma causes brain damage. TBI can result from a closed head injury or a penetrating head injury. Symptoms of a TBI can be mild, moderate, or severe, depending on the extent of the damage to the brain. Outcome can be anything from complete recovery to permanent disability or death. A coma can also affect a child's brain.

Just wanted to say thank you to all my DS friends. I don't think we hear it enough...we come here to ask advice, share our stories when we need help and/or we're having such a hard time in our lives and feel hurt or misunderstood, etc..but this time even though I feel like crap,

I wanted to post a happy thought..I love you guys. I truly do. It's all of you that have gotten me through all of these hard times, I have only a few friends here in my real world perse that understand but they don't live anywhere near me, my family definitely doesn't understand and never takes the time to even really ask, but I can always count on you all, ALWAYS...and it means the world to me. So thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Hey Meep!

Great post. Something that's always on my mind but I never bring it up. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU. Whether I've known you a minute or the five years I've been here. We've all helped and come to the rescue and have been rescued.

Yes, thanks to all. Strange that I never would've have come here if not for the PCS of course.
