Why is it that doctors and therapists care more about money than helping people? I had great insurance but lost it at the end of July; now I have a lousy student policy with a preexisting condition clause. Local community mental health center won't see me b/c I have insurance. College counseling clinic won't see me because I've maxed out my visits. I don't have the money to see anyone on a cash basis. I've tried every resource and hit a brick wall. I'm so depressed that I don't know how much longer I can make it. If I don't get help soon I'm going to have to go inpatient because then someone will have to help me and possibly get me on some decent meds.

Sorry, I had to vent. It's like I've screaming at the top of my lungs for help for months and no one is listening.
