Bone Cancer Support Group

Bone cancer occurs when bone cells grow uncontrollably. Unlike normal cells, cancer cells do not stop reproducing after they have doubled 50-60 times. These abnormal cells form clumps of tissue, called tumors, inside bones. The first symptom of bone cancer is typically pain in the affected bone(s).

I too have osteosarcoma...Mine is in the skull of the brain and it is a rare type it cant be operated on and I am scared of dying I have been going thru chemo and next they wanna try cyber knife I just keep praying It isnt true ...

I had Osteosarcoma too, Diognosed when i was 8 and the relapsed when i was 12. 16 now and went into remission in December! :)

I know what u mean about being scared... do u have support from ur family? or friends? That is very important to your well being? Like I have mentioned it before I have osteosarcoma but it is in a rare location and CAN NOT be operated on somedays I dont want to go to sleep cuz I am afraid I am not gonna wake up...what treatments are u undergoing?

I had Osteosarcoma 10 yrs ago..had a year of chemo and major surgery that left me with a limp but life does go on. Stay strong and positive

My son had osteosarcoma. He had gone through over two years of chemo fighting. The best thing to do is stay in touch with God, and keep yourself as healthy as possible. Staying healthy and eating right is a must when going through the various medical treatments.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
