Hey, I'm a second year women's studies major and am finding it so difficult to find cool people interested in the same things i am. I've recently started going to the women's studies dept. meetings but am finding it really overwhelming because everyone else knows each other really well and all have really strong personalities. I feel like it's even worse for me becasue i found out i was bi because i'm really attracted to one of the girls in the group. So not only do i want to meet / become friends with these ppl but now i'm worried about making a good impression in front of the girl i like. None of my friends or family understand how difficult it is for me because they don't know i'm bi. I feel like until i experiment with a girl and know for sure that it's not just a phase that i don't want them to label me or look at me differently. What can i do to get more in with these girls? and what should i do about the girl i like? She's always surrounded with friends and even though she sat right beside me today (when there were tons of open seats) she doesn't talk to me, i think it's because she doesnt know i'm into girls cause i'm so shy... ahhh so confusing! lol
