Bisexuality Support Group
Bisexuality is a sexual orientation which refers to the aesthetic, romantic, and/or sexual attraction of individuals to other individuals of both their own and the opposite gender or sex. Most bisexuals are not equally attracted to men and women, and may even shift between states of finding either sex exclusively attractive over the course of time.
first off I would like to say that I understand the small country living. I live in the country and I tell nobody im bi. Its like a huge thing not to be. sucks. its like hiding apart of you. As far as not having many experinces I knew from kindergarden I was attracted to girls and guys but didnt have my first actual girlfriend till 16. If someone doesnt want to accept your bi then that is there problem. you know how you feel inside. I only came out to my mom and she accepted me because an aunt of mine is a lesbian. most my family disowned her. I have been with my husband for 8 years and we agree that a girl is attractive ect but ive been with him and no girls but im still bisexual. You know in your heart when you feel that feeling for a guy the same as a girl and that is bisexuality. hope this helps. if you need to talk i am here and so is everyone else.
hugs to you to find your way.
i am married to a man and i wish i wasn't bi, but it's there. i think i avoid being around women i'm attracted to because it's easier. i seem to get a lot of crushes on persons of both genders.
I feel i'm handling the whole thing better now... i mean, i feel bi and even thought i've never been with a guy, i know i like guys... so, i'm just not gonna worry about trying to date someone but rather meet new people. A close friend suggested to tell new people i'm bi in the beginning of the relationship and not years later, so that they get to know me knowing that and if we ever have more feelings, then it's already out there in the open, without risking prejudging :D
I can't tell everybody, but I think you have to risk a bit and tell the people that are relevant to you, like your friends. Family is more complicated and very specific too, so I won't get into that. And really, if someone says something stupid about my bisexuality, i'll just ignore it, after all, i don't want to be around people who think like that :P
Man, take your time...be sure of what you want, if you;re not sure, then that makes it worst, but when you;re confident in what you want, you will be strong!
