Bisexuality is a sexual orientation which refers to the aesthetic, romantic, and/or sexual attraction of individuals to other individuals of both their own and the opposite gender or sex. Most bisexuals are not equally attracted to men and women, and may even shift between states of finding either sex exclusively attractive over the course of time.
I’m a 15 year old girl and I’ve been questioning my sexuality since the 8th grade. I know I like boys but sometimes I really like girls. I’m afraid of what my family will think. Mainly my dad because he’s kinda homophobic. I also can’t wait to go to college and explore my sexuality
First off, if coming out will put you in danger, I would suggest to keep it to just friend or adults you really trust.
I also bet you tons of kids at your school are thinking the same thing. You can talk to friends or a therapist about how you're feeling.
I also know you've probably heard this a million times from the internet, but it takes time (when I was questioning, I know I wanted to know right away and not wait to find out). But it's the truth. If you have a crush on someone, talk to them and become friends first! Remember not to rush anything and to stay safe. You'll figure yourself out, I promise <3
