How do you manage your sexuality? I am new to the whole bi thing and still trying to get over the fact that not all men are abusing a**holes. (can I swear here?) I found life as a lesbian safe. Although looking back I wonder why.. I want to know how everyone handles the wants of two different sex's. I mean I have a Man yet miss the indoor plumbing sometimes.. Does anyone have a split life?

I had past relationships with men and woman, then when i met my current partner who has no interest or agrees with me being bisexual, this recently has caused our relationship to the point where i am holding back and find myself wanting a female fr friendship and more, dont know what to do or where to go..its hard when we cant be ourselvs. from shaz xx

To me its less about gender and more about personality. Some men are assholes, some women are bitches--etc.
The right person will make all the difference! Hopefully you can see past surface things to the core and if you follow your heart in love it really shouldn't matter what gender you end up with.
Maybe your man would let you have some extracurricular activities ;) Talk to him about your desires and include him in satisfying them! Good luck!

I think humunculous is right. If you are happy, in love and it is working than gender doesn't have to matter. My frustration is that when I had the chance to explore and never went very far. I denied myself for a long time, regret I guess. I don't regret marrying my partner just wish I hadn't denied myself before that. Good luck and if you are happy go with it :-)

My lover knew me for two years. Hell when flirted with me one time too many I told him I was into girls only. Poor guy two years later I told him I wanted to explore a few things with him. I had no intention of sticking around him or being with him. I had never thought I would fall for him. That was 7months ago. He has told me since day one he wont change me. He knows I have been into women and if i want a woman's touch to go get one and come back to him.

I dont know if thats selfless or weird yet... the jury is still out.
But it also makes me consider making love with a woman in front of him.

Every relationship is different. Unfortunately, for some of us, they just don't make humans with interchangeable parts. LOL! For me, i chose who i love and can live with, and then live with what i love. :)

I am with you - I have had relationships with both, and I fantasize about both. But then I am more interested in my emotional connection - the sex is just part of that.

When I had two relationships - one of each gender - I was very happy. My partners were not. Maybe that is what polyamory is for...
