Bisexuality Support Group
Bisexuality is a sexual orientation which refers to the aesthetic, romantic, and/or sexual attraction of individuals to other individuals of both their own and the opposite gender or sex. Most bisexuals are not equally attracted to men and women, and may even shift between states of finding either sex exclusively attractive over the course of time.
Like I told a friend on here, free yourself of having to live with labels. If you want to experiment with a hermie, that's fine. Love and even attraction is a whole lot more deeper and complicated than sexual preference, so just go with the flow and open yourself to falling in love with a person regardless of gender/sex.
This is a really nice forum/site with some very understanding people. Hope you have a nice stay here, take care.
maybe Im just curious as pinkfreud pointed out ;)
If you're a believer in the soul, you'd know that your soul by itself is actually 'sexless' or, if you choose to look at the other side of the coin, it's a combination of both sexes. My personal belief is that we're all souls manifested in physical bodies... and sexual inclination is a very physical notion. It really limits you to the physical realm when you say 'I'm gay/heterosexual/bisexual'. I don't understand why people are unable to look beyond the 'physical' and concentrate more on their inner selves.
Love really is blind, and that's because when you feel genuine love, you feel that way regardless of someone's physical form. You transcend the 'rule' that love can only be experienced with the opposite sex. When it's the real deal, you feel love for a person, and not just because the individual is a guy/girl/hermie. That's a whole different thing from lust or physical attraction though, obviously.
Regardless of my ramble, I think the whole notion of male+female balance would make for a great discussion. It's really liberating when you realize that you're capable of loving somebody beyond what you see of them (read: gender).
Darkdestiny thats funny! people say that about me and my hubby too! :) we're a total role reversal haha
