well, it would help if u told us how they reacted...

well, my sister said nothing. My uncle kind of, well, he almost blew his top. My mum didn't react at first, but last night, after I posted this, she said, " you have one more label, you're my son," I think I may have over reacted. Maybe I was wrong to hide away for so long. They're still my family... So, one has to wonder, why did I still hide?

fear make you hide yourself...thats why you would wonder what they will say and will they except you this way? and stuff like that! but i do hope you still find your family by your side!

Hiding is natural, my family will more than likely never know my struggles. Ill take this one to the grave with me, cause they are very hard headed and choose to not understand people in their issues.
As for advice, you told them. Ide let them come to you maybe, cause its not like you can really take it back then it would be lying?
Hopefully your relationship with them will get stronger as time goes on, and the awkwardness will dissipate. But you never know. Ill keep you my prayers hun.
