Bisexuality Support Group
Bisexuality is a sexual orientation which refers to the aesthetic, romantic, and/or sexual attraction of individuals to other individuals of both their own and the opposite gender or sex. Most bisexuals are not equally attracted to men and women, and may even shift between states of finding either sex exclusively attractive over the course of time.
So I came out as bisexual just over a year ago.
Lived in two different cities since then I have been to 2 LGBTQ community centres and the one on campus at school.
I've come for emotional support because since coming out I'd say 80% of people I was friends with said they can't be my friend anymore (mostly due to religious beliefs) and my parents still won't talk to me.
So I come in there looking for acceptance.
Yet all 3 times as soon as I say I'm bisexual I get all the usual same remarks "are you sure..." or "one day that might change"
So my question is has anyone else experienced this? and if yes how have you dealt with the situation?

my first serious boyfriend was black... (I'm caucasian) and I didn't "warn" my dad when I brough him to visit and later (under the influence of some alcohol) my father thanked me for trusting him enough to know that I didn't need to... I wonder if that would be true if I showed up with a woman? I don't know.
is it somehting I shoudl have to tell people or should it be a non-issue and if they are uncomfortable then that is their problem? I don't know.
