Just Discovered I'm Bi

So I've known I was sexually attracted to women for a couple years now, but I grew up very religious, so that was taboo. It wasn't until recently that I've fully accepted it and am interested in a relationship with a woman (I'm in my mid-20s). But I have some weird reservations/confusion, lol. Maybe I have false stereotypes about women? Which feels hypocritical. I grew up with all brothers and mostly guy cousins. I'm more comfortable with guys. The women in my life have been the most abusive, over the men. Maybe that's part of my issue. But my thought is that women are so much more emotional, needy, etc. Like how could 2 women possibly be in a long-term intimate relationship without killing each other? lol. Guys are so much easier, it seems like. I don't know. It's very hard for me to picture, even though I am more sexually attracted to women than men. Confusing.

Aw HUG Sad to hear you've struggled. I really don't think its such a black and white matter of gender though...people are people--regardless. Some people are more into their stereotypical gender roles, but some aren't.
What I'm saying is, there is someone for you--male or female--who's just right! Not all women are emotional and needy and not all men are simple and logical...

I agree, yes women can be totally psychotic but men can be that way to, thats the beauty of being bisexual, you can find love in a man or women :-) good luck on your path

I am so sorry to hear that you have struggled with this. Women can be a handful at times but thats where you find the best match for you. Every women is different in doing things or their emotions etc. If you want a relationship with a women then go out on a few dates and see what kind of women you would like to be with. There are different types of women just like how there are different types of men and you just have to find the right match for you like you would with a man. I am also sorry to hear that women have been abusive to you but like I said before not all women are like that and you just have to find the right one. Good luck on your path and I am always here if you need someone to talk to.

Well i understand what you are saying. Things can be more complexed with women than with men but it really all depends on the person.
