Hey, So i've just gotten out of a very emotionally stressful relationship. I dated my ex girlfriend for about 3 months and she lived an hour away, which made balancing friends, work,etc almost impossible to see her. She ended a one year relationship to date me and she just called a few days ago to tell me her ex wants to get back together but is okay to have an 'open relationship' so my gf could still be with me. I got pretty upset and said there was no way i could share her, especially with her ex. I just feel so lonely right now and miss just talking to her (since we texted every day). My pup just got hit by a car the other day and died so as soon as i found out i texted her and althoguh i felt better knowing i had her support, i now feel like i am not strong enough to cut her out of my life.
I'm also in the process of coming out to my friends and family as bi and my ex (who identifies as a lesbian) was really supportive and helped me come out to a lot of ppl. I just don't know how to get over her. I feel like shit all the time and cry whenever i'm alone. How do i get over her and start a relationship that is strictly friendship??

A loss of a relationship is a death and has a necessary grieving process that varies from person to person.
I would suggest you stay single a while. Stay single until you don't think of her. Until you stop crying. Until you think to yourself: this was a step forward, Im on to better things/people, and I WILL find love, and I am DESERVING of love.
Real love exists.
see you gotta get pumped up again about you and your dreams but your head is full of her...
Until it clears (time) you're not going to move on in your heart even if you try to force your body somewhere else...
Might as well buckle down, get through the grieving, and move on knowing its at least something you won't have to experience twice...

she contacted me recently 3 mos ago asking me how was i doing i said fine just a short talk. she hasnt talked to me since i wonder why lol. i think shes still a liar she told me she couldnt get preggo and it hurt her badly now i found out shes preggo! she was always preggo when i dated her. i would love to meet a nice open minded sweet woman to be friends with. I have seen so many attractive women that i like but not making a move.
