Bisexuality Support Group
Bisexuality is a sexual orientation which refers to the aesthetic, romantic, and/or sexual attraction of individuals to other individuals of both their own and the opposite gender or sex. Most bisexuals are not equally attracted to men and women, and may even shift between states of finding either sex exclusively attractive over the course of time.
Yes, I am a bit of a romantic and when he kissed me, it was more like hit and run. LIke, I was thinking "WTF? How sweet, but really, where was the mood that set that up?"...I guess there was no tension on my part, and those "goosebumps" everyone kept asking me about were not present...Granted, everyone was excited for me since they hadn't really heard me talk about a guy, but it was a bit difficult with him having a long history like family with one of my coworkers...So even if I wanted to keep things secret, they could always find out from her :(....
My dilemma is strange. I cannot get involved, but the person that makes me confused I try to stay away from due to the circumstances we are in. I stand by my values and yet, the things this person has done or said, well, I can only guess. But is it just being VERY FRIENDLY as some might presume?
I notice little bits of moments of touching (tickling on the side, or resting a hand on my back) and then a few days ago I mentioned something self-deprecating in nature to which she was quick to add the following complement:
"You are not a loser. You're a very talented, intelligent, and beautiful young lady. Don't let anyone tell you different."
I was a bit taken aback. I was merely talking about my losing status at gambling, but to have taken it to that level, well...one can only think.
Sorry, this probably doesn't help your situation. I only thought that it would show I empathize with your feelings. As for meeting other women, well, that is up to you I suppose. At this point, I am still struggling to accept where I am in this.
Good luck and if you need to talk, I'm here :)
I ended up telling him the other night. We went out to a club and talked. He said he'd never been in this situation. I appologized (not for being true to myself) but for not telling him sooner. He told me he told his friends *facepalm* but I guess that's normal for guys?
I think I'm just more scared I might be more gay than straight (in my bisexuality) if that makes sense. lol Some people in my region are small minded..
But I do have a date and I'd like to date a female. :)
