okay so i'm a second year uni student and just realized i may be bisexual (i don't know why i didn't see it before or question my sexuality sooner). I grew up in a somewhat small town and never found myself really attracted to girls before, or enough to question my sexuality. I'm majoring in women's studies and last week i went on their pubcrawl. There's this girl, who i noticed last year but didn't think much about my attrcation to her, though lately i've been finding myself day dreaming about her. So on the pubcrawl i saw her kissing another girl and i got the most intense feeling of sadness and jealously i've ever had in my life. She caught me looking at her and i think she's checked me out in our class we have together, but am not sure if it's all in my head. Anyways i CANNOT stop thinking about her or looking at her in class. I'm not sure if this is just some sort of phase b/c i've always wanted to belong to her group of friends or if i actually am bi. I'm just sooooo confused and don't feel like i can talk about this with anyone in case it's just a phase or something- though i don't think it is....

Please give me any advice you can!

Hey, I'm like you I found out about my bisexuality in the summer just before my second year at uni. One of my first thoughts was 'I'm 18 I'm to old to be figuring this out! Why hasn't this come up sooner' I think with me I had plenty of times before, now looking back, which was not how a straight person should be like but it took for a big enough 'slap in the face' of two hot guys to really wake me up to who I really am.

Your situation is a difficult one. I would agree with purpletulips87 to see where it leads but take it slowly. Sometimes love is real and sometimes its in our head, you will only know which one it is if you go for it.

Don't be afriad to talk to someone about this, if you need help even if it is just a phase reach out and take help.

One last thought; when I was figuring out this and going through the confusion stage and wondering if it was a phase I said to myself that even if it was a phase I would enjoy it, live out the expericne to its fullest and grab this opportunity for all it is

that is almost exactly how i figured out that i was bi myself...many many moons ago when i was in college... finding myself daydreaming about this girl in my class.. and it was like a smack in the head... lol... when i realilzed this, i set out to find out for sure if i was.... and yup... i was... and 25 years later i still am... i say explore it... if you are you are, if your not you'll know for sure....

this is exactly what i felt when i fell for a girl in my year (yes im english LOL) as i am in year 11, i got to know her really well, she is bisexual herself but she is with a guy, and when i found out, i was gutted and jealous.

i agree with purpletulips87 you've just gotta see how it all goes and if you still feel the same at a later date then you can come to your conclusion then..

Thanks everyone who replied. I'm going to take your advice and talk with someone about this. I feel like i need to figure it all out first before i jump into some kind of relationship i may or may not be quite ready for!

try talking to her maybe its one of tho talk those crush things that once you talk to the person and know more about them you arent that interested anymore

I would go with my feelings. The good thing is that she is bi and you both have already made eye contact. If you talk to her and she say you kiss another girl she would figure out that you feel attracted to her.

All you need to do is talk to her and go from there.

Do not wait it off. It will get more confusing between the two.

Risk it. Do not go solely by the adice of others. Succeed and fall in love!
