i know what your going through here i am 38 bi female but i dont look my age at all thats what my friends tell me. just be who you are and dont worry about what others say. wanting to be with a girl is your decision age shouldnt be a factor unless you make it one. i saw your picture on here and you are a pretty person in my eyes. believe in yourself

I know you're just calling it like you see it but yeah, I agree, a bit harsh sounding--ouch--I'm in my 40's but I don't think I need a bag over my head, and I run about 10 miles a week. I think it's natural to like who you're going to like, but you're kind of fighting a losing battle if you keep after straight women. A straight woman wouldn't like you if you were drop dead the end all envy.

Well the person you may think is ugly may be a beautiful person to someone else... I am not saying looks aren't important, it has to be there to get it all going lol but this is something you don't say it loud to the world...age matters to some, but some people don't care about it so again it's all what you want and you will get it just keep looking buddy! =)

I understand the age thing... I'm 42, and while the young ones are nice to look at, that's a line a don't cross. And, as far as being attractive, it's all a part of the appeal... you can't help if you aren't attracted to a certain type. However, you may find that feeling of a lack of attraction going by the wayside if you get to know a person... suddenly, they become attractive. The wrapper is just that: a wrapper.

being an 'old' 45 year old woman myself i prefer women of my age or older... and attractive is what you make it... i happen to love the person inside first and foremost...everything else is just like Brenda said the 'wrapper' sooner you realize that the sooner you'll find that 'right' person and not discard them so freely...

And yeah, I agree with chichadee. I think it's always been the underlying motivating factor for me, it's about who a person is on the inside and what resonates for you about a particulary personality.
So I think that I might not be drawn too closely to someone who was very overweight because I enjoy (trying) to keep fit. But if there were other things I was drawn to in that person, their weight would not be an issue. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
And to want to be somebody's friend, that in itself is a beautiful thing because that person is saying, "Hey, I like what I see in you as a person!"
