Does anyone else have experience with this drug? I have been on it since April for psychosis. But now that my psychosis is gone, I don't feel like I need this anymore. I feel emotionally flat and I pace around the house not knowing what to do with myself. I have no emotions. Nothing brings me pleasure anymore. I feel dead inside. I am on disability now and I feel worthless. I miss being myself. I've become completely anti social. I never want to go out and do anything anymore. I am 32 and feel like an old lady already. Help!

Although I don't have personal experience with Zyprexa, several other DS members have been on this med.

The dead , flat feeling and weight gain seem to be the biggest problems with this med.

Check with your Pdoc, maybe since your psychosis seems to have passed, maybe your Pdoc will take you off the med.

My daughter started this med a couple weeks ago. Last Wed I told her pdoc that she didn't feel it was helping. He said to stick with it. Tonight she seems exactly like what dancingd described....dead and flat. I asked her if she felt down and she said yes and that she's been feeling like this since yesterday. I'm making a call and appt for her to see her pdoc tomorrow to see if she needs an increase in dose or can go on something else. She felt really good when taking Risperadone but it caused lactation. Why is it so hard to find the right med? Jeez....
