Can I just get all of you to bear witness with me and help me dissect how shitty this recent YouTube comment was that I got?
I put this YouTube video up about six months ago about my illness called "A Schizoaffective in her Natural Habitat". Here's the link if you want to see it:
https://youtu.be/77haFudYs-Q
I have had 13,914 people view it and gotten some very nice comments and some really shitty ones, as is understandable when that many people see something.
This one I got this morning really pissed me off though. Here is it:
"Actually they can be very dangerous and harmful. It should be that once a person knows their problem the try to better themselves not brag about and continue on the same route at least that's what the majority of humans do. Therapy, counseling, medication, and a steady routine seem to be the most affective way. However every time I've encountered some of the people with disorder a few sum of them don't work. So who pays for all the adult needs such as rent, make-up, food, and so on? At what point does being "self accountable" kick in? Or does it ever? Or even a thought? The majority of people work and try to keep together in the outside world. Seems to a lot of the world that some of disorders are the "new thing" and just another way to work the system. So how can one know when a person has this legit condition or is just faking it?"
GAH!! So they go from saying mentally ill people like me are dangerous to telling me I should get a job and am probably faking it and not being self-accountable. What the shit?
I can't work because I'm constantly hallucinating and having anxiety and mood swings. I'm on SSDI for a reason and it got approved in 6 months no lawyer for a reason too, because my illness is legit. i don't have to prove that to a stranger on the Internet who clearly has no comprehension of the reality of mental illness and that most of us can't work because of it.
I understand because my comfortable life is visible in the video that people viewing the video may be jealous of my comfortable life. I get that most people with mental illnesses don't have rich parents and can't just loll about their big apartments putting on makeup and smoking pot all day like I do. Sorry.
I understand that and I understand that this YouTube commenter is probably coming for a place of not wanting to go to their shitty job and being jealous of the fact that my illness and family money allows me to do nothing and just take care of my illness. They feel that that this is somehow wrong and I must be working the system and it upsets them. While I understand that I really can't afford to care about it.
Haters gonna hate, amirite?

You may recall I write that my sister and he husband were in an affair with my brothers wife. It's been almost a year. Mom last week asked me to invite my sisters boys to a birthday at my house for my brothers daughter. I was on my way to pick up the boys when my mom called and told me to turn around. Apparently my brother didn't know my nephews were coming and he was livid. I came home to a...

At least I have figure out not to respond to shit like this, it's just not worth it.
If comments are allowed then
One comment will be about Obama
One comment will be about jews (or the rare variation - a comment claiming the poster is anti-semetic).
I guess the Obama comments will look quaint in a few years time.
I just marvel at the energy that's gone into be some people to do this. They could have actually made something of their lives rather than as it seems at a fundamental level, they need to blame someone else, e.g Obama or Jews.
We live in the age of envy. Envy of those that have attained more than us, envy of those we feel have got something without the struggle we have.
I choose to be different. I deface you tubes about Nazi history, the KKK and right wing groups with comments about kittens. One day I'll wear them all down.
That person was a jerk. Ignore it. With that many views, I'm surprised you didn't see more of that!!! I'm sorry, Andrea. You're doing the right thing! Big hugs!
