I was on a really good eating plan but that changed this Winter (from July here in Aus) and I was comfort eating.
But hey Spring has now sprung and I want to get back into my old clothes.
So for me at the moment it's all fresh foods- fruit salads, salads, fresh fish etc. And drinking loads of water too.
I have to regulate my diet more now due to meds weight gain and starting the gym next week
"Not promoting anything just saying what works for me"

...and yes, I eat meat. I was anemic once, that was enough for me... I love a rare steak
The weight I have recently gained... I am on five meds, and two which are prn... is prob from my recent drinking spree... no people, beer is not a staple of my diet!!
As for shopping, there is a lot to be said for convenience... so, I usually shop at the market down the street. Walmart is great tho for items like my decaf coffee and frozen foods.
I have read several expert opinions regarding mental health and diet.
I try to wake up and eat a decent amount of fruit, a couple hours later maybe a bowl of hearty soup or chili - homemade with lots of good health ingredients (kidney beans, any beans really, veges, flax seed, etc) Then often for dinner I will splurge and eat out or have a couple frozen burritos or a pizza.
My diet is really not stable, but I try to stick to what I listed.
It is also good for you to eat much smaller portions and eat more often. I tend to snack quite a bit and it is proven to improve your metabolism to eat less and more often. Also I think it is just more natural for our bodies being that we are naturally hunter gatherers.
One last tip - I do not eat anything except maybe an icecream snack for a good 3 or usually 4 hours before I go to bed. I am almost positive that is why I've lost a decent amount of weight and kept it off. (I have also heard others tell me this works)
Any other celiacs out there?
So Ive stopped the Coca Cola which I adore and have started drinking more water and juices.
Ive also tried to eat more salads and wraps as oppsed to macdonalds although today I had half a buger and a slice of shortbread. oops
I also had a bowl of oats (ready brek) which was nommy so I might start having that more often
I cant afford better grocers so I hit qfc and safeway. I eat fruits and steamed veggies salmon and chicken and stouffers and water and protein drinks (powder)
I've never heard of Celiac Hope. Sounds a little annoying - I like bread but it's good that there are alternatives for you =D
Lmao half a buger and shortbread, that is probably the funniest thing I've heard in quite some time.
I'm working long days right now. So, another walk for the dogs in the evening, then a quick and easy meal, perhaps egg or chicken tacos or a burger, an ear of corn, veggies, etc. I've burned out on lettuce, so no salads rigth now.
