Yarg!! It's Fractured in Three Places

Hey guys. I got a call yesterday that my daughter had fallen during a class outing to the downtown park. I go over there and we ended up getting an ambulance to take her to the ER. Turns out her ankle is fractured in three places and is dislocated. They gave her heavy duty pain meds and relocated it. She is set to have surgery this afternoon. This is the first hospitalizationi that either of my children has had to have except Dillon when he was born sick. I am apprehensive to say the least. Please have us in your thoughts and prayers. My daughter's name is Aerial. I will be missing yall over the next day or two as I am staying at the hospital with her. I have just come home to take something for my back pain. Ibuprofen.........yay!! Sleeping on a cot in her room. Murder on the old back. Anywho, I hope you are all doing okay and look forward to being back in touch with yall in a day or two.

Tommy's right. It's much worse when our kids are hurting than when we are. I would much rather take on any pain than have my son go through it. Too bad it doesn't work that way. Will be thinking of you and praying for you both, especially Aerial. Good luck. xoxo

You and Aerial are in my prayers today. My kids have never had to have surgery but I know I'd be very nervous if they had to have it so I feel for you today. You must be very nervous. ((((HUGS)))) hon. Everything will be okay have faith. Prayer works wonders.

Most definitely, Aerial will be in my prayers. That is a tough thing to deal with at a young age. But look at it this way, when her ankle heals, the bone will be twice as strong as it was before. Tell her that will be her tough ankle after this. She will get through it alright, and you will be alright also too daddy.

Take care and try to get some rest. Can't have a grumpy daddy in his little girl's room now...
