He is a bigot. I say whatever- I will not give him the rise he wants. Yes it pisses me off but whatever. If he knew what we believed he would probably crap his pants - we believe in Jesus, Moses, Abraham, ETC - I view it as clarifying the bible (& most Muslims I know own a Bible - & do not want to burn it) and like have pretty much similar stories in the Quran. But whatever - he is ignorant.

I think the Koran burning is wrong . This preacher is in a very small congregation and he's receiving world wide attention. I don't think he's worth the effort,, he just needs to go away. If we allow this, whats to limit other religions from being targeted.

I do think it will fuel other bigots though much like this 9-11 mosque thing. No kidding just about a week and a half ago when I was out this truck was watching me when I went in a store - and I am dressed as an obviously Muslim woman. I come out to find my one of my tires slashed. A few days ago our mosque was vandalized- along with some cars that were there. That is not the half of the harassment I and people I know have endured. Every year on 9-11 I am afraid to leave my house because of this. Now I ask - who are the terrorists now?

I don't agree with what the pastor is wanting to do either. The only reason I fear the reaction is because of the media coverage. It just fears me for the possible repercussions from extremists is all. I have nothing again Muslims or anybody else.

Chanel, I am so sorry that happened to you. This pastor is not of God, he is of evil. This is a secular nation, thankfully and we are all free to worship as we see fit. Christians can be just as radical as Muslims, but they do it in different ways, like killing doctors for being in a certain profession or protesting in the most horrific ways at soldier's funerals. If you want to freak yourself out about Christian radicals, watch SOLDIERS IN THE ARMY OF GOD. That documentary freaked me. These radicals are dead serious in their murderous intent. It's sick, it's sad and it isn't what Jesus would do. Peace.

I wonder what the news media will act like in predominately Muslim countries, to get peoples attention and money.

I wonder if it is just like the USA. The headlines will read "AMERICANS BURN QURAN" on the front page or "AMERICANS HOLD MASS QURAN BURNINGS"

Notice I add the "s" at the end of burnings, exactly the same thing our propaganda machine would do if the tables were turned.
