Seems like it has come to that point when in the past when I asked my first doctor what do you do with a 70 year old biolar he said give a low dose of lithium lol not happening they wish that they could increase zyprexa and that is out max dose



Moods coming faster and faster worse and worse even as bad as before meds. What am I supposed to do another question

I'm so sorry, bywena. It seems that for some, age calms down the moods, but for others, age makes them worse.

I could not physically handle manias anymore, at this point, so I'm glad mine have calmed.

I hope you can get a med combo that really helps you.

My first doctor was a genius and called a right no stable for me in my life but I accepted it from the beginning so only the occasion complaint and then move on and keep a step in thanks for the encouragement

What meds have you tried. Some times you have to roll with the punches and try different ones. Also watch your sleep schedule.. what's been stressing you out?

It sounds like you may need to try a different med by if what you're on isn't working

There are so many.... When I didn't sleep for days I was put on one of the old 'zines' and it worked well for me along with Cogentin to combat side effects
