Ok I'm on SSI first of all. My prescriptions are $1300 a month. I have a counciling apt every week and one Dr apt a month.and I receive $200 a month in foodstamps. I want to work but it seems I wold actually loose money by doing it. I can't afford to loose my SSI they allow you to make like $900 a month but my other insurance don't. Does anyone else have these problems. Are there ways to work around the system. Give me your thoughts.

I started my own night patrol / security business. I dont take any pay and the money made is all back to the business example my car is now a total write off gas and all my computer is office, meals are about security everything is a write off- thus no profit no income but some of my daily expenses are paid.

not saying this will work for everyone but it does free up a lot of cash for necessities. I did get a part time job from home too to handle the $980 I am allowed to make on SSD but I understand you could not do that. Cash jobs are always a work around with risk but i recently heard about bartering for services...

you cut someones grass they make a dinner you babysit they do laundry etc. anything to survive.
