Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I am glad you went to your pdoc, hope you found a med to try.
As for the other stuff, ask the doc why exactly he wants a rush on the tests????? Because frankly, you should worry about taking care of one thing at a time, and if it can wait.....wait!
The mammograms and ultrasounds are b/c of my age, and pain and lumps. Not entirely the typical presentation of cancer, but there are lumps that need to be checked out. Chances are more likely that they are fibrocystic in nature, but still may require surgery and put me at a higher risk for cancer in the future.
Unfortunately, these are 2 things that have to happen at the same time.
I just hate that you have all this going on at the same time...why couldn't it happen more spaced out , it creates too much stress... anyway, it sounds like you can handle it.... and more than likely, you are fine in the booby department....haha
I'm sorry you are scared. Some times doctors just put a rush on things to be safe. I doubt it's cancer.
Please just take a deep breath. If it is cancer then you have to prepare your self for the worse (emotionally).
But try not to think too much about it until the test results come in. You can't change the results either way so just try to relax.
I know it's hard just hang on in there.
I think you should not worry, fibroids are easy to distinguish, and in the end, when it all comes back fine, you will be reassured. Or maybe they are pushing the doc for more business. One never knows in health care for profit, do they?
