I've withdrawn from effexor twice and both times it was like living in hell. I've known people who go through the experience with no problem but that wasn't meant for me. What worked for me was to make the least change possible and maintain it for two weeks minimum before changing again. Your doc needs to be schooled since this is a serious step. Hang on and you'll succeed.

I remember taking Effexor. For some reason it made my sinuses dry. Not sure. That's one thing that I noticed. I did not feel very different taking it. Dunno.

Don't wanna scare you, I just won't sugar coat this: I was in bed for a full month. Barfing with the room spinning, any withdrawal side effect, you name it, I had it.
