My daughter is behind me on her bed, on her phone, while I sit here listening to Zero 7 (Distrations) on the computer at the moment. Soon we will laugh and talk a little before bedtime since we have to get up early for her school routine. Been a very productive day- glad to wind down.

got the mandolin part of an insane instrument up-and-going. angelfood-cake tins, weird homemade resonators 12 string guitar/8-string mandolin....it's gonna' be badass.

I'm having a pretty shit night except I feel justified in being comfortably numb, had to take a Phenergan and other stuff because all of a sudden I got puke sick. Made a burrito, procrastinated on getting up to get my burrito, which turned into losing my appetite, which turned into "I don't think I can get off the couch right now actually so I guess it works out".

But if you (or anyone) could make me a functional instrument that doubles as an instrument of terror (a weapon) I'd marry you.
