Mostly we are trained to be quiet, admit no problems or hurts

I\'m not trying to be mean but it\'s not really fair to generalize all men in this category. I have a few very good male friends and they are not at all like the way you are portraying all men to be.

I agree with what\'s already been posted. Men are conditioned to be tough and quiet and it\'s not unusual for men to be uncommunicative and keep things inside. However, not all men are like that and not all men use viagara, watch porno and cheat. Quite a few of us are pretty decent people. My personal experience with relationships was that being open and communicating caused things that I said to be held against me. I figured it was a lose-lose situation and that being quiet was the best way. It hasn\'t been a problem for me since my last divorce 12 years ago and being happy on my own.

I have a very close friend who is not only against porn does not take Viagra but is also a republican...and get this talks extensively about his feelings.

firstly, this is the 21st century and men do not and usually are not the heads of households.

secondly, whatever\'s wrong does not in any way excuse the piss poor behavior like cheating, abuse, drugs, etc.

Also Aquarians are not all quiet (if you believe that sort of thing). They are known for being "out there", inquisitive, curious, and talkative, but clueless.

Viagra is a sensetive subject with men because men feel they are emasculated when they have to admit there\'s a problem. Also, simple changes to diet may do wonders for ED.

i have to say though.. i don\'t think you\'re generalizing too much.. not all men take drugs.. but the cheating and porn thing are right on. But then, that\'s my personal opinion and i severely dislike men.

i admit i feel weak when i admit my weakness. i feel women hate sappy men.

A man isnt suppose to be shy and if he is...it will affect his entire life as it did Brad.I found this out...when Brad was 17...he was the star football player in school.He was very,very popular and he met a nice girl of 15.She liked Brad.He was her first love.She played the piano and she was that good....Brad wanted to marry her..but she was 15...she wanted to go to Julliard School In New York to study piano and this really hurt him.Guys...will you do me a favor? Just because you like someone doesnt mean that they share your vision.A lady doesnt get into Julliard by accident.It takes strict auditions and after that intense classes and practice.If she wanted to be a concert pianist like Ms.Rice...then it is up to you to realize that this romance isnt for you and she isnt ready to make a committment..Not many 15 year old girls want a huband and kids.Some girls want a career and they are not shy about telling it.The kids today tell it like it is.They are not shy and for this I am grateful.But to carry a hurt like this for 30 years...I cant see it...Brad never got this rejection..does rejection mean you are less of a man? I dont think so...and remember this....in a old study the editiors of Glamour took a study of motherhood..The results were surprizing and it states that women who were born after 1955 were less likely to have children nor marry.The men born in 1960 did get married.but their chances of having children are nil.Brad had to realize she liked him as a friend for the time being but she didnt want to spend the rest of her life with him.She wanted a career in music...like I did and it never materialized for me cause things were different back in 1966..real.but i sing at karaoke and I am getting good.But guys do remember--your first love will be with your forever and very few people marry their first love.very few.And if Brad got over this...he would still be alive and kicking.thanks to all.vader and the cats.tooey tooey will be 10 tomorrow.Meow!

Once again this is so unfair for you to say....Why can\'t some men be shy? they don\'t all have to fit into a mold of one personality, one perfect person. Does that mean that all women are not allowed to be shy? I am sorry that you lost your boyfriend to such an ugly and tragic form of death, but it doesn\'t mean that it\'s right for you to take it out or blame the entire male race. People are different, that\'s what makes us unique. If all men were exactly the same, the perfect species, then to be fair women would have to be the same, and then where would the human race be? There\'d be a lot of "robot-like" humans running around with no personality and not much of a reason to exist.

thanks again for the nice comments.And today i met new people..but in seattle...people here are not as open as the people are in New York or Phillie but they are wonderful people and as usual...the shy guy asked me for coffee and i refused.I cant do this to Brad.Brad and I are married in this life and the life to come.
