Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

Because even if I go out, I wouldn't enjoy it !
I see all of the young people out there being so happy and normal only gonna makes me feel bad about myself
I am 23 and I haven't even started college because of the bipolar disorder
I really loathe myself and I only see suicide see a way out.
Back in the days when I was 17 I wouldn't consider cutting but NOW? I just did.
I am going back to the doctor and see what's coming next.
NO ONE COULD SEE MY PAIN

Monaso, your life is just beginning and you have so much to look forward to please don't hurt yourself! I HEAR your pain! Make yourself go out with your friends you don't have a stamp on your forehead that says "Bi-Polar." Just hang out with them and try to act your way to being in a good mood. I know it's not easy but being around people could make you feel better. Fake it till you make it. I'm sure a lot of those "happy" friends have issues too. xoxo

I forgot to tell you if you post on the main board you will get many more replies. No one hardly ever looks at the posts on the top.

I have this same problem...and I'm 32. I also have two children so I have used that as an excuse to do anything for the last 9 years. But, before that, I couldn't go to a bar unless I was already loaded. People freak me out. I don't even know how I'm going to deal with people in out-patient treatment starting Monday. I don't necessarily know how to do stuff for ME. That's the biggest problem. What do I like to do? Hide from humanity. It's the story of my life and I don't know how to change it or even if I want to. I just know that I "should".

It's great that you're going to see your doctor Monaso.... Bipolar is a treatable disorder... Once the treatment is working you will find stability sweetie... Hang on and keep reaching out... Big hug for you...x

Here is my new brother, copper :) He's so tiny! Moo and Tuck were ok with him on first meeting. Rocket due to his severe aggression will never meet Cooper.
