I down my night pills with a beer pretty much every night

I say don't drink. I'm taking zoloft and geodon and I haven't drank since I was put on these meds. My doctor told me not to drink...not even just a little.

I take seroquel and welbutrin and I drink wine at least a couple times a week.
I used to drink more, but I try and keep it to a couple glasses now that I am on the meds.
Besides, I get so much more drunk now that I am on them, I don't need much.

I have one of three reactions to my meds and alcohol...
1) The Fun Drunk - this is the one I wish for but rarely get
2) Pass Out - I get so sleepy and instantly pass out
3) Deeeeeeep Depression for DAYS - this happens most often therefore, I don't drink on meds hardly ever.

I have one drink a week and I haven't noticed anything. I used to drink very heavily on Prozac, Wellbutrin, Seroquel, and Abilify and nothing bad ever happened. I now am on the same medications and I have one drink a week and I don't notice anything. I still don't recommend that you do it very often because it mess around with different people on different medications.

I drink once maybe twice a month at the most. I have a problem with having a few drinks. That's why I try not to drink that often.

i take depokate, topomax,prozac,and no i dont drink. i also take alot of other meds for other illness.i miss drinking so much.

i drink everyday, but it prolly depends on the meds, and how severe your stuff is...i say go for it and gauge it for yourself. but not with ambien!

You wont necessarily have an immediate reaction drinking with the meds. Alcohol, especially in large quantities or frequency alters your brain chemicals and interfers with your meds triggering cycles. I try to avoid alcohol at all costs because I know it will interfer with my meds and trigger depression for me eventually. It isnt worth it. Hugs

I'm on Klonopin, Lamictal, Paxil CR, & Abilify. The first time I drank after starting my med cocktail I got knocked on my ass after 2 beers. After that everything is normla.

I always drank on my meds, but i usaully paid with severe depression after. I never listen to advice very well.
BTW, Never ever drink on Geodone. You could die.

I tried over and over and it just messed up my med effectivness and caused worse depression. If you really want an aswer read the warning literature for your meds or ask your Dr. You probably know that answer already.

I wouldn't i probably would get soo sick

I am on effexor, lamictal, abilify, ambien , klonopin, and xanax. I don't drink. if i try i get very sick and sweaty. No fun.

I'm drinkin' with my meds right now. I've never wanted to drink more than now(3 weeks into depkote). I miss feelings even a change in body temperature will do.
