I suspected, but I was diagnosed by 2 therapists and my pdoc.

I diagnosed myself first, then went to my GP with BP assessment of web, then was referred to Maternity hostpital psych.

I was initially diagnosed by my GP in Australia who had been the family doctor for 5 years. I then had was also diagnosed by a psychologist and then a psychiatrist.

I got diagnosed by the Psychiatrist who looked very much like the lady in the Scottish Widows adverts

Then I got a really good looking Nurse to call around every day and I thought at the time - why didn't I get diagnosed sooner !!

Psychologist diagnosed my BPD and then years later a Psychiatrist diagnosed the BP and PTSD

My therapist when I finally told him about my racing thoughts. He sent me to a pdoc and he agreed with the tdocs diagnosis
