How does buying a bunch of stuff have anything to do with the birth of Jesus? And where did Santa Claus come from, I'm pretty sure he wasn't present. Why does he have to come down the chimney, seems like a cheech and chong movie or something. Just questions. Oh and the tree, what's that about, a bunch of shiney stuff and the focus is solely on the presents and the collection of relatives you don't really like gathering together waiting with baited breath for their time to leave with the loot. Can anyone intelligent explain to me how any of this commemorates the birth of the Christ Jesus.
