Not me - we already had our big holidays, last Friday was for us. My kids got a good helping of presents... (have a pic on my profile) ;-)

(puts up tree)NO...(ergh)...not really...(ergh) (cat climbs tree; knocks tree over)...too much trouble...(picks up tree) (goes to chase cat, who is running through house with plastic Santa)...too many memories...(answers door; it is neighbor who has called police about noise disturbance)...lots of little things to do...(finds "gift" cat has left in tree branches)...those lovely holiday smells...(lights spice candle to dispel "gift" odor)...

...yeah, I guess I like it okay. If I Don't have to spend it with Family!!! Arrgh...

my halls will be decked this weekend yay for me its not about the pressies though l did treat myself this year its all about the mood if l'm not feeling it then no tree this year l'm determind to get that tree up or l'll brood. l have a friend visiting and l'm away for the new year so it should be fun....crosses fingers!!

I celebrate both Christmas and Yule although it's been hard for the last few years as my mother in law passed away and the holidays are really hard for my wife (and me too but it's a bit easier). Want it to be better than last year when we were alone for the day. But I think it's hard for a lot of people during the season.

Funny cat story. I have similar problems with my cat Skittles. So we can no longer put expensive ornaments on the tree, especially anything glass. I'll be decorating and putting the tree up today hopefully. I love Christmas and all the lights!!

I stand decorated 24/7 and 365 LOL. Let the dysfunction commence!! We used to go to my dad and sister's in Michigan for Christmas every year, but we quit having the money to go years ago and now that I have the desire to go again, we still don't have any money and I am terrified to take off and drive that far away from home and in that traffic because I am afraid I will have an "incident".
