February 11, 2009...will be my two year DS anniversary. I have seen lots of friends come and go. I for one...am here to stay! Love DS and the people on it.

Hey nobody..I've been getting PM's from some OT's..they feel kinda lost with all the new people.

Not to say,we don't like new people..we always are happy when someone finds this site,and all the help and fellowship here...it's just hard ,when so many of the Old Timers know our personal history so well,and have talked us through some rough times.

I say,I just keep on plugging away,and make new friends..but it was nice to hear from you!

Jan. 23 will be my 2nd birthday. I find this web site draining most of the time. Nothing personal mind you, that's just what my experience here is like. 2 years and I might be an old timer. It's gotten old, I can tell you that.

I guess I'm old school. I don't feel a connection here like I use to. It's hard to post as much as before. I miss the board the way it use to be. Not a shot on the newer people here. I'm glad you found some support here.

Ditto 18 months. I too am shy and tiring. Hardly ever post. Keep quiet, sit in the corner, reading a book etc.

In the past men where men and gals were gals.

I miss Pluck. There was a man. 8 feet tall, ate 5 mars bars at one sitting. Went to the moon and opened a petting zoo there.

    I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

    Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner.  I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings.  But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!
