im B2.... ive always been jealous of ppl that "get" the full on manic knowing that it would last longer, i would get more stuff done, be happy and social for longer, be more fun longer, and just have a good ol time... but i guess its not like that if hearing voices and other stuff comes along with it =(

People with bipolar 2 do not get severe mania. If they did, they'd be BP1.

Only some people with BP1 get really bad mania. This can be totally psychotic, delusional etc.

Strange... I rarely get depressed, I'm mostly manic and mixed all the time, yet I was dx'd originally with BP2... now Schizoaffective...

I get really psychotic when I'm ill as well. Especially if I get the slightest fever... it is usually the first sign that I need to see a medical doctor and have an infection or something. I get really manic and hallucinate and talk really strange...and cannot sleep...
